Post Race Party: 2:30pm July 23, Base Lodge. Plan to stay, cheer on the 6 hour racers, and party!

Approximate Race Distances:

Mountain Biking: 65 miles (3-4 sections)


Trekking: 15-20 miles (3 sections)
Packrafting: 12 miles (1 section). Teams will be required to carry paddles, PFDs, and packrafts for a short distance and will be required to inflate rafts during the race. 

Note: Distances may vary depending on route choice and are subject to change. Check back closer to race day for more exact numbers.

Teams of 2, 3, or 4 are required unless pre-approval by race director to compete solo.

  • ​Gear bin (24 gallons or less per racer)

  • Packraft sturdy enough to handle up to class III rapids   (see below for packraft info link). Inflatable kayaks are also allowed, however, not recommended. Must bring and carry pump as well. 
  • PFD
  • Sufficient clothing for weather & weather changes
    • Beanie/Buff (recommended)
    • Wool or Fleece under-layer (recommended)
    • Paddle Gloves (recommended)
    • Rain Jacket (recommended)
  • Bag at Transition Area for team paddling gear following paddle section (per team)
