New to adventure racing, this is the race for you! The 6 hour race is perfect for new racers wanting an intro to the sport, families looking for an outdoor adventure, and athletes and weekend warriors of all kind. The race will involve road, gravel, and dirt road biking, trekking (trail running and hiking), and flat water paddling all while navigating map and compass (beginner level). In addition, there will be "amazing race" type challenges...outdoors style. Don't let the 6 hours scare you! There are plenty of opportunities for breaks and rest. There's a lot of fun and adventure to experience, so get a team together, come on out, and give it a try!Approximate distances: bike 20 miles, trek 3-5 miles, paddle 1-2 miles. Grand County is beautiful but busy this time of year, so we recommend you bring your friends and family and stay for a night or two.
