You need to organize your boat, paddle and PFD provision. You may provide your own boat, paddle, and PFDs if you like, or rent or borrow.
We're excited to announce that Surf'SUP Colorado is sponsoring the boating leg by providing Stand Up Paddle Boards for the first 50 racers who want to borrow SUPs, paddles and PFDs. If borrowing from Surf'SUP Colorado, you are required to reserve your boat prior to the event so we can plan accordingly. You can do this by calling them directly. 720-635 7873 This race will involve some lake and river paddling. The river is class I river flow. There will also be some optional portaging in this race. Portaging is when you haul your boat over land to water.  Racers will need to provide, rent, or borrower their PFDs, Paddles and Boats for this race. Racers are permitted to bring canoes, kayaks, stand up paddleboards (SUPs), packrafts, or inflatable boats.  Make sure your vessel is sea worthy. ​Pool toys that will pop from sticks and rocks or require you to be submerged during use are not allowed.
