Gear bins for transition areas:
You may have 1 gear bin per team member. Gear bins can have a maximum of 25 gallon capacity. If you can use a smaller gear bin, we'd love you for it.Leg 1 - Rafting (Approximately 5-9 hours long depending on river levels) • Helmet,PFD,Paddle(ProvidedbyRockNRow)
- WaterSource - Water bottle or slim camelback that fits underneath tight PFD
- Adequate food
- We recommend you bring a little for your raft guide as well.
- (Leave maps and passports in gear bin the night before to avoid losing them in the rafting section. Navigation will not be necessary in the rafts).
- (Optional) We recommend taking a bag to attach to the D-ring of the raft containing team food & water.
- (Optional) Dry or Wetsuit, American Adventure Expeditions will have one you can use.
- (Optional) Paddle Booties or Neoprene Socks or similar.
- (Optional) Bag at Transition Area for team’s wet clothes following raft section labeled with team name/number (not needed if you want to keep your wet clothes in your gear bin after the rafting section).
